What makes me a good leadership coach?

I am an effective leadership coach because I’ve been a bad manager!

I found myself in a managerial role with no management training and no role models. I was good at my job, and was appointed to get the job done by others. I experienced frustration, disappointment, failure, conflictual work relationships, and I was part of the problem.

I’ve spent the past 15 years learning, evolving, cultivating self-awareness and empathy to reconcile the person I am at work with the person I aspire to be.

I complement formal training in coaching and emotional intelligence with my experience as a leader in a corporate environment, having successfully navigated in-person, hybrid, and remote work with diverse teams based in four different continents.

My journey at a glance

After getting bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Relations and Diplomacy, and a master’s in international cooperation followed by an internship at UNDP in Moscow, Russia, I started my journey in the corporate world. 

From a start-up to Amazon, I led sales campaign production teams and HR teams, of growing seniority, diversity, and impact.

I completed my coach training with an ICF-accredited institute in 2022, and my education in emotional intelligence with the Daniel Goleman Institute in 2023.

I am currently enrolled in the bachelor’s programme in Techniques and Methods for Psychological Science at the University of Padua, Italy. 

Why I do what I do

I am convinced it is possible to integrate individual morals with collective ethics, personal values with business goals, and career progress with servant leadership.

It’s even possible to reconcile what can seem to be divergent objectives, to initiate transformation in stale environments, and to elevate vulnerability to self-awareness and empathy.

Integrity, candor, and connection are my guiding principles, as I aspire to support clients as a lighthouse: as a coach, I cast light on viable routes, so that you can choose the best one for you and the organization you lead.
